What sets The Trillium apart from other chairs is its ability to transform from a regular chair to a relaxing long chair with just two simple movements. Made entirely from high-quality stainless steel (grade 2507), The Trillium ensures durability and stability. The seat and backrest structure consists of stainless steel with crossed belts and a multi-layered sponge covered with fabric or leather, providing both comfort and support.

In its regular chair configuration, The Trillium measures 1300mm in length, 650mm in width, and 950mm in height. In its long chair configuration, the dimensions change to 1420mm in length, 650mm in width, and 820mm in height.

During the development of The Trillium, Andre Eid faced the challenge of balancing stability and durability with finesse and artistic quality. By increasing the diameter of the stainless steel tube, he successfully overcame this obstacle. Additionally, he plans to explore the use of alternative materials, such as aluminum, to decrease weight and improve shipping efficiency.

The Trillium's design journey began in 2017, with the final prototype completed in December 2018. Its unique shape and functionality have been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award, specifically the Iron A' Furniture Design Award in 2019. This accolade acknowledges the chair's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
